About Me
 

My name is Jamie. This is my  website and I welcome you to take a look around and see if there is anything you like. I live in Northern New York in the Heart of 1000 Islands area. We get lots of snow and ice and summers seem way to short. I am 54 years old and still think young. I am a cancer survivor and pray that they will soon find a cure so others will not have to go through what I did.

I am a former Woman Marine and my husband was in the Navy and then the Army for 28 years. We have 4 children between us and 9 grandchildren. We are both proud members of the American Legion and a lot of our time is spent working on Children and Youth projects and working for the Military at Fort Drum, NY

I am involved with 2 or 3 different programs of the American Legion and probably the most important one is the Heroes to Hometown and Family Support Network. What we do is the committee contacts our Wounded Warriors to see if there is any help they need with coming back into their communities. Do they need ramps to get into their homes, sinks lowered or maybe doors made wider for wheelchairs. Anything that they need with will help them get at no charge to them. And if a military family is in need we try to help them with this. That could include an overdue bill, groceries, maybe a babysitter to get time away from all the stress in their lives.

I love to play on my computer with PSP and think I am getting pretty good with it. On my pages you will find the graphics and background tiles I have created using this great program. I will be adding more as time goes by and hope that you stop by often to see what is new.
